ROAD SAFARIS FROM NAIROBI

TREE HOTEL (1 ½ DAYS)

Day 1 Tree Hotel - Drive north through pineapple coffee and sisal plantations to the lower slopes of the Aberdares arriving at your base hotel for lunch. Transfer to your tree hotel for game watching at the floodlit water hole (160kms, 3hrs)

Day 2 Nairobi - After breakfast, return to Nairobi before lunch.

 

AMBOSELI (1 ½ DAYS)

Day 1 Amboseli - Drive south through open ranch country leading deep into Maasailand. Enter Amboseli Park and proceed to the lodge for lunch, a game drive and an overnight (250kms, 4 hrs)

Day 2 Nairobi- take an early morning game drive before clouds shroud the snow capped summit of Kilimanjaro providing a magnificent backdrop for the 'Big Five'. After breakfast return to Nairobi.

THE BORN FREE SAFARI (2 ½ DAYS)

Day 1 Samburu - Early morning departure to the semi-desert north. Cross the equator, arriving at your Shaba Lodge, where thorn bushes give way to acacia woodland and cascading springs. ( 352kms, 5 1/2hrs)

Day 2 Nairobi - Return toNairobi, arriving before lunch

MAASAI MARA (2 ½ DAYS)

Day 1 Maasai Mara - Driving to the escarpments descend into the Great Rift Valley and proceed to Narok. Enter Maasai Mara Park in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive Enter Maasai Mara Park in time for lunch afternoon game drive and overnight (280kms 4 ½ hrs)

Day 2 Maasai Mara Spend the day on the undulating hills and grasslands viewing the spectacular wildlife including antelopes, gazelles, prides of lions and other predators.

Day 3 Nairobi After a hearty breakfast, leave for Nairobi before lunch.
